Educational Opportunities

Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CIS is also approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a sponsor of continuing education in podiatric medicine.

Each year CIS is the accredited provider for an international conference held in July in Hawaii, entitled "Principles and Perspectives in Interventional Cardiology."  CIS is also a provider for "New Cardiovascular Horizons," an annual conference held in New Orleans.
