Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Bose Cheeran is an interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Lafayette and Breaux Bridge.
Dr. Cheeran joined CIS in 2012. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Thrissur Medical College in Kerala, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and also studied at Maimonides Medical Center, where he completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships.
Dr. Cheeran is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and interventional cardiology. He is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation.
Additionally, Dr. Cheeran is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. He was also named the Best Fellow of the Year by the Department of Medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
