Cardiologist
Dr. Eric Engeron is a native of Houma, Louisiana.
He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and LSU Medical School in Shreveport. He remained in Shreveport for his postgraduate studies and residency in internal medicine.
He completed his cardiology training at Finch University of Health Science/The Chicago Medical School, Department of Medicine, and Division of Cardiology. He returned to Houma for his cardiovascular and peripheral training with CIS where he remains as a staff cardiologist.
As a National Merit Finalist, Dr. Engeron continued his scholastic excellence as an LSU Chancellor’s Scholarship recipient. He remained on the dean’s list in both undergraduate and medical school, was selected to Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and was chosen as Intern of the Year by LSU Medical Center.
He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Engeron is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American College of Physicians.
