Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Jennifer Rodriguez is an interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Meridian.
She earned an undergraduate degree in English at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She completed her doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center. She continued her studies at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she completed an internship and residency in internal medicine. Her fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology were completed at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, in addition to Methodist Hospital in Houston. She also has studied the Spanish language, history, art history, literature, and acting.
Dr. Rodriguez is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. She has practiced cardiology since 2002 and has contributed to numerous publications, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. She has participated in several research projects during her time at UTMB, Duke, and Wake Forest.
