Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Anil Chagarlamudi joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2003 to serve as an interventional cardiologist at the CIS Thibodaux clinic.
Dr. Chagarlamudi received his undergraduate degree from Andhra Loyola College and his medical education from Guntur Medical College in his native India. He completed externships at Government General Hospital in India and at Fairview General Hospital in Ohio.
Dr. Chagarlamudi received his postgraduate training in general surgery at State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he also served as clinical instructor in surgery. He completed his cardiac surgery training and internal medicine training at Christina Care Health Services in Delaware, and received his fellowship in cardiology at Westchester Medical Center at New York Medical College. He was awarded the Certificate of Excellence from the Medical Center of Delaware in 1995.
