Senior Vice President of Practice Management
John Kazusky works as the Senior Vice President of Practice Management at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS).
Kazusky is responsible for all practice administrative duties within the organization, including management of staff and day-to-day clinic operations. Prior to this role, Kazusky served as an executive vice president of practice management for the Capitol Region. He joined the CIS team in 2012 as a practice administrator in Zachary, and in 2017, he was promoted to regional practice administrator over the Baton Rouge area.
Kazusky attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
Before joining CIS, Kazusky worked as the Inside Sales Manager at the Cook Hotel and LSU Alumni Association. In this role, he ensured the very best customer experience for guests, implemented new procedures and policies, and worked with billing and contracts.
Kazusky joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2012 as a Practice Administrator in the Zachary area. In 2017, Kazusky began his role as a Regional Practice Administrator in the Baton Rouge area and began serving on the Senior Leadership Team for CIS.
In 2015, Kazusky received the CIS Ace Award, presented to the person who is an unsung hero, a leader for all, and a star in the eyes of our patients, physicians, and staff. The recipient of this award carries on the mission, vision, and values held true by the physicians and staff of CIS. In 2018, Kazusky was presented with the CIS Leadership Award, presented to the Team Leader demonstrating the spirit of teamwork, creativity, innovation, and willingness to meet the challenges of the future.
