Cardiologist
Dr. Kenneth Wong joined the physician team at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 1995.
A native of a French-speaking island of Mauritius near South Africa, he received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University College Dublin School of Medicine in Ireland.
Following both medical and surgical internships in Ireland, he completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics internship, a residency in internal medicine, and a fellowship in cardiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Wong is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and adult echocardiography. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the Louisiana State Medical Society. Prior to joining CIS, he worked at the Metro Health Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Wong sees patients at both CIS Thibodaux and Raceland clinics, serving as the medical director of the Raceland clinic.
