Cardiologist
Dr. Kris Lindsay joined Cardiovascular Institute of the South in 2015 as a cardiologist.
Dr. Lindsay was born and raised in Deridder, Louisiana. He earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from McNeese State University.
Dr. Lindsay completed his residency in internal medicine at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Lindsay is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He has earned numerous honors, including the Alumni Award for Excellence in Anatomy, the Alastair H. Burns Physiology Award, and the Gold Probe Award for earning the highest grade in medical gross anatomy. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
