Mark Moore is a nurse practitioner at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in Meridian.
He received his associate’s degree in nursing from Meridian Community College, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing. His Master of Science in Nursing was completed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he studied as a primary care nurse practitioner.
Moore has held many titles in his career, including emergency department nurse practitioner, director of emergency services, and cardiology nurse practitioner, which he has practiced as since 2004.
Moore is board certified as a family nurse practitioner and emergency nurse. He is a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Emergency Nurses Association, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He also enjoys giving back to the community by participating in groups such as the Care Lodge of Meridian, Wesley House Clinic, the American Cancer Society, and the Mississippi State Games.
